Where Water Meets Sky
This collection is an exploration of pristine horizons, misty waterways, and fluid mirrors. Minimalist suspension and stillness. Where the boundary between the earth and the atmosphere completely dissolves

01
Shadows on the Pamba
Kerala, India – 2026
Gliding through the labyrinthine backwaters of Kerala, the world slows to a singular, rhythmic pulse. This stark monochrome capture distils the landscape down to its purest elements: the towering, expressive geometry of the palms, the glassy mirror of the canal, and a solitary figure moving through the morning mist. It is a study in profound stillness—an observation of a 'Small World' balanced perfectly between earth, water, and sky.

02
Dawn over the Coral Sea
Great Barrier Reef, Australia - 2025
Forty kilometres off the coast of Eastern Australia, dawn breaks over the absolute isolation of the Coral Sea. Watching from a solitary pontoon anchored above the deep, the sky ignites - a fleeting moment where the vast, open ocean meets the first warmth of a new day. The floating buoy and snorkelling frame in the lower right provide a sense of human presence—a tiny outpost sitting on the edge of a vast, natural wonder.

03
The Stillness of the Abel Tasman
Torrent Bay, South Island, New Zealand - 2024
At the heart of the Abel Tasman coastal track, Torrent Bay offers a rare moment of absolute equilibrium. This high-contrast study isolates a single, tree-crowned islet against the mirrored surface of the tide. By removing the colour, the composition highlights the rhythmic ripples of the foreground and the immense, quiet weight of the horizon.
Optical Metrics: 300mm F7.1 1/1250 ISO200

04
On the Prow
Magdalena River, Colombia - 2025
Near the island town of Santa Cruz de Mompox, the vast and shallow waters of Ciénaga de Pijiño require a watchful eye. This monochromatic study captures the pilot on the prow in the golden light of late afternoon, his silhouette a testament to the quiet, constant vigilance needed to navigate these ancient canals. It is a moment where the depth of the water and the skill of the navigator dictate the pace of life.
Optical Metrics: 28mm f8 1/1250 ISO 100

05
Under the palms
Zebedee Springs, Western Australia – 2025
Looking up from the hot springs, you can see the radial symmetry of the palms against the Kimberley sky. This frame captures the play of light through the Livistona palms, turning the canopy into a series of overlapping, translucent layers. A quiet, upward glance that isolates the oasis from the surrounding desert.

06
The Mirror of Cuernos
Patagonia, Chile - 2024
A study in symmetry and geological drama. This frame captures the iconic granite spires of the Cuernos and the sharp, singular peak of Aleta de Tiburón as they are perfectly mirrored in the crystalline stillness of a mountain lake. The immense scale of the Andes is doubled, creating a cinematic landscape where the boundary between sky, stone, and water completely dissolves into a deep, glacial blue
Optical Metrics: 28mm f11 1/500 ISO 200

07
The Living Force of Perito Moreno
Cafayate, Patagonia, Argentina – 2024
This composition highlights the labyrinth of jagged crevasses of the Perito Moreno Glacier that span its 250 square kilometers. To walk upon its surface is to hear the glacier’s voice, a constant symphony of groans and thunderous cracks as chunks of ancient ice break away and plunge into the frigid depths of Lake Argentino. A study in geological scale and colour, the ice reaches toward the horizon in a jagged, crystalline fortress.

08
Translucence at the Fish Market
Cartagena, Columbia – 2025
In the bustling fish market of this historic Caribbean port, local cormorants are more than just scavengers—they are the market's most persistent residents. This frame isolates a single moment of take-off and landing, where the fierce equatorial sun reveals the delicate translucence of the bird's wings. It is a study in cinematic tension, capturing the frantic, beautiful energy of a scene that feels like a vibrant, tropical reimagining of Hitchcock’s 'The Birds'.
Optical Metrics: 28mm f8 1/640 ISO 100

09
The Sleeping Condor
Cerro Paine Grande, Patagonia, Chile - 2023
The weather in Southern Patagonia is brutal most of the year – massively high winds, rain and snow and cold temperatures. But when the weather is benign, there are few places on earth more stunning. The composition highlights a specific geological curiosity: to the left, the snow cover forms the distinct silhouette of a condor across the granite peaks. The image is one of my personal favourites.

10
Stock Ghyll Force
Ambleside, Windermere, Cumbria, England - 2024
The Stock Ghyll tumbles down through a series of waterfalls to the centre of Ambleside. This frame captures the 'V' intersection of the Stock Ghyll as it tumbles toward the valley floor—a quiet, modern remnant of a landscape that once powered a dozen watermills. By using a slow shutter speed, the water is transformed into a singular, fluid shape that contrasts with the sharp, chaotic textures of the surrounding ancient woodland.
Optical Metrics: 89mm f8 1/8 ISO 100

11
Beneath the flow
Galvin’s Gorge, Kimberly Basin, W Australia - 2025
At first glance, it's a cascade charting its predictable path down a rocky cliff. But follow that flow to the very bottom, and the scale shifts entirely. A man sits motionless, dwarfed by the landscape, with the water enveloping him like a liquid veil. Like a figure from an unwritten myth, quietly integrated into the core of the stone. It is a study in textures: hard rock, soft light, and the distinct, sugar-like flow of cascading water.
